Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung: Public transport in these cities isn't as seamless as Taipei, making Uber and Line Taxi the default. East coast self-drive: Highway 11's coastal scenery is among the most beautiful in Asia, but signal drops on certain sections between Hualien and Taitung.
